“We are helping to close the gap between need and support for child wellbeing by offering free digital bereavement information and support for children and young people”
Winston’s Wish
At Child Wellbeing Tools, we’re proud to support the incredible work of Winston’s Wish, a UK charity dedicated to helping children, teenagers, and young adults up to the age of 25 when their world has been turned upside down by grief.
Losing someone close can be overwhelming and confusing at any age, but for young people, it can feel especially isolating.
Winston’s Wish provides vital support to help them understand their feelings, process their grief, and begin to move forward with hope for a brighter future.
Through a blend of instant online support, carefully written publications, facilitated groups, and one-to-one sessions with bereavement professionals, Winston’s Wish offers compassionate, age-appropriate guidance to meet young people wherever they are in their grief journey.
They also offer support for the adults who care for grieving children and young people, including parents, carers, school staff, and healthcare professionals, helping them feel more equipped to provide the emotional support young people need.
By sharing and promoting the work of Winston’s Wish, Child Wellbeing Tools is committed to helping more families and professionals access the right help at the right time. We believe that no child or young person should feel alone in their grief, and we’re proud to support resources that make that possible.
